Beyond Birth The Fourth Trimester is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting parents through the challenging transition after birth. We recognize that while much attention is given to pregnancy and birth, the postpartum period—often called the fourth trimester—leaves many families feeling unprepared and unsupported.
Our alliance brings together healthcare providers, mental health professionals, community organizations, and experienced parents to create a comprehensive support network. We provide resources, education, and direct services to help families navigate the physical recovery, emotional adjustments, and practical challenges of the postpartum period.
Through our programs, we aim to transform the postpartum experience from one of isolation and uncertainty to one of connection and confidence. By addressing the full spectrum of postpartum needs—from physical healing to emotional wellbeing to practical support—we're working to ensure that no parent navigates this profound life transition alone.
